I finally found one that I can recommend (I'm sort of picky ya know), just click here to check it out. It all comes in a box (with an ice pack for the meats) and it's actually pretty affordable especially compared to eating out, and even more when you consider the food is higher quality than any restaurants, since it's rare to find one that has better quality meats and organic ingredients! It only takes 30 minutes or less of prep work before you eat, but there's no shopping, no planning, just pick out your meals online that look good to you (the two we got were really tasty!), then just spend a very few minutes in the kitchen and you're done. Safe Pastured Meats
If you don't have a local source you trust, get healthy, safe, pastured meats here — I know the owner and trust that he is sourcing his meats from farmers he trusts who raise the animals humanely and feed them their natural diet.
Get in more vegetables!
Dr. Cowan, a founding member of the Weston A. Price Foundation, raises nutrient dense organic vegetables in healthy soil (or sources them from friends), and dehydrates them just so, to retain the most nutrients and antioxidants as possible, and turns them into vegetable powders that can be added to anything! They even steam their greens before dehydrating, so there's no worry of goitrogens, which can cause thyroid issues, or oxalates, which can cause inflammation and can cause calcium to build up where it shouldn't.
These can be easily slipped into your morning smoothie, into soups, sauces, and stews, sprinkled on eggs, roasted vegetables, salads, baked potatoes, popcorn, folded into rice, pasta, baked goods or casseroles — really, added to anything you like to eat. It's especially nice for when you don't have time to get to the farmers market for more produce from farmers you trust, or time to do all the cleaning and chopping.
