It's been a while since I've posted a “Friday Food Flop”—my longtime readers will remember those from my early blogging days. It's not that I don't still have flops, I definitely still have them now and then, but just forget to post about it!
Grinding Einkorn for Sourdough:
This time it began when I wondered why it was taking so much longer than normal to grind my einkorn wheat berries into flour. (Kent grew up on a farm and mocks me for calling them “wheat berries” instead of just “wheat”.) Now that I’ve perfected my sourdough, I’ve been trying to add in more whole grains to increase the nutritional value, and freshly milled grains have even more nutrients, but this time it didn’t go so well…

Trying to stay connected with an android phone. It does not have a *nice big computer* screen to look at.
Instead of these “movies” that go EXTREMELY FAST, how about writing/blogging the story? You know, for us oldsters. Would love to know about the wheat berry flop but ….not gonna happen with the “movie”.

Sorry about that, can you pause it as it goes along?
Actually, I’ll add just the photos to the post right now, just in case pausing doesn’t work.
