I belong to a Nourishing Traditions discussion forum and was very excited when this came through yesterday:
“Check out this Front Page article in today's Food Section of the Washington Post – this is a huge breakthrough for the Weston A. Price Foundation's dietary guidelines.”
I hope you'll read the Washington Post article over, I bet you might learn something new!
- Who is Weston A. Price?
- Sally Fallon's book, Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats
- Another book with similar principles: The Maker's Diet
- Want a healthy way to lose a few pounds?
- Don't want to read the whole article? Read some exerpts here at Cheeseslave‘s post, “Sally Fallon Beats Rachel Ray and the Barefoot Contessa“

Liz, I appreciate it! Thanks!
Shauna, isn’t that so true, and so sad. It’s hard for me to “get” why everyone isn’t putting 2 and 2 together and realizing how far off track we have gotten!

That is a great article! How encouraging!!! I was very impressed with the article’s accuracy, and how well it showed the Foundation. I think that people are realizing that something is not right…. in a culture obsessed with nutrition – we’re some of the sickest people out there!

By the way, I just ordered my Nourishing Traditions cookbook the other day — and yes, I clicked through from your site, Kelly!
