Good morning guys! We had our bible study group here on Friday and for dessert I made these easy homemade brownies and served them with organic berries and vanilla ice cream. We usually have a few appetizers too, so I found some sausage pineapple bites on Pinterest that were pretty good, although I made my own glaze, not theirs, and of course used some healthy sausage from the farm, no mystery meat. I had some cheese and organic crackers out, and also made these cucumber cream cheese things from Pinterest:
Only mine didn't look quite that cute… They started out sort of okay. I put a frosting tip on the end of a baggie and made little squirty-doos. (I'm such an impressive chef with my fancy words, right?)
Then the tip kept coming out so it went all over my fingers and was quite a mess. I couldn't find organic cherry tomatoes, so I had to buy romas and chop them, and that wasn't very cute either…
I probably could've turned this into a Food Flop post. You can see all my doozies at that link, and trust me, there have been plenty! At least we had our own little greeter who made us a sign so our friends knew where to go. 🙂
Saturday I went with my sisters overnight to our Aunt's house in Traverse City, check out our view, we were pretty blessed, huh?
Now it's time to get off the computer and go plan school for tomorrow!
