Read the latest heartbreaking news from the Associated Press that says 1 in 4 teen girls has a sexually transmitted disease. It may seem like just another statistic, unless it’s you or your daughter who may now be infertile, who could have a greater chance of getting cancer, or who could have something like genital warts – imagine having to explain that to your future husband.

What’s the solution?

The newest “required” vaccine is Gardasil, said to prevent certain types of the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

Check out the comparison of mandatory vaccines in 1983 vs. 2008.

Now read about the dangers of the Gardasil vaccine, recommended for 11-year-old girls. You can be sure our daughter won’t be getting it.

And another one from CNN: Should parents be worried about the HPV vaccine?
