Did you know you could buy canned grassfed beef?
Whether you're into keeping food on-hand for “just in case” (and who doesn't want a bunch of food stored up these days?) OR if you're like me and appreciate having meat ready-to-eat for a FAST meal, you'll love this canned grassfed beef! (Grass-finished too, for those of you who know how important this is, because most cows are already grassfed when they're young.)
There's lots more info below, but first, think of all the ways you could use it for quick meals!
- BBQ beef sandwiches
- Serve over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes
- Tacos
- French dip
- Soups or stews
- Pot pie
- So many healthy options!
I've actually been thinking about trying to put up some grassfed beef myself someday, but it’ll be time consuming, so I’m excited to have this option for now and I just ordered a case!

More about where this canned grassfed beef comes from…
Jeff Duba is local to me here in West Michigan, and we've chatted often about local farms, grassfed meat, etc., and I've also ordered from him before. He sources meat from nearby pasture-based farmers and is passionate about supporting the local food system and getting good food into the hands of those who appreciate it. Best of all, he's very transparent and his website has clear information about the farms he sources from and the safe and sustainable ways the animals are raised.
Here's what he had to say in his recent email about the canned grassfed beef:
- Insulate yourself from inflation for the next 5 years…
- Save money on your electric bill…
- Never worry about your freezer failing or going out during power outages…
- And protect you and/or your family from food shortages…
When you enjoy delicious, tender, and juicy, GMO-free, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef at likely the lowest prices IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES. Why? Because not only is 100% grass-fed beef almost impossible to find anywhere else in the U.S., but the only other place I could find selling it has their 28 oz. cans priced at more than $24 each (and that doesn't include shipping).
You, however, can enjoy this tender, delicious, grass-fed and grass-finished beef from Dundonald Highlands for just $22 and change per 28 oz. can (pay even less than that when you order more than 1 case).
Use it in hearty stews, stir fries, or shred with a fork for bbq sandwiches. The mouth-watering possibilities are endless. It's fall-apart tender and fully cooked.
Just heat and serve!
So stock your home pantry or hunting camp now with 28 oz. cans of grass-fed Highland-Angus beef from Dundonald Highlands (Three Rivers, MI).
You'll enjoy its peak flavor and texture for a full 5 years! Imagine having FOOD SECURITY with 5 years of shelf life for flavor and texture–more or less, depending on how you store it. (***For best results: store in a cool pantry or root cellar with a constant temperature.)
Imagine being BULLET-PROOF FROM INFLATION for the next five years by locking into 2023 pricing.
I asked two more questions about this canned grassfed beef: what about the mRNA vaccine (since I'm getting so many questions about this being in our meat-yuck!) and about GMO's–here's his reply:
Regarding your questions, I asked the farmer…
1. Whether or not the cattle are given any vaccines, especially the mRNA vaccine?
2. We're presuming it's GMO-free, i.e. never fed GMO feed or GMO treated grass?
Dundonald Highlands' response: “I can say no to both; they were born here and we put nothing on grass or hay [except natural sheep and cow manure]”.
Jeff has been so patient with all of my questions, he understands why I'm so picky!

I would love to buy this but I don’t eat food out of cans, only glass jars. So sad.
KitchenKop says
Doris,
I’m *pretty* sure that the beef is canned as in “pressure canned”, and actually in glass jars, but I should not have assumed that and I’m double checking with Jeff. I’m also waiting on a photo from him too.
Thanks for asking! 🙂
