Need a good graham cracker crust recipe?
Here's one that's made with organic ingredients to avoid the chemical additives and other icky stuff in the non-organic graham crackers… This is so good, I like to taste-test it a lot before pressing it into the pie pan…
Homemade Graham Cracker Crust
Use this with any pie recipe such as my yummy chocolate cheesecake (pictured above)!
Servings: 9 pie plate
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups crushed organic graham crackers about 10-12 whole ones (It goes fast in a food processor)
- 1/2 cup melted pastured butter
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup of your favorite natural sugar I like palm sugar or I sometimes use organic brown sugar for recipes when brown sugar is extra yummy, like this one.
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together and press into a 9″ pie plate. Be sure and press it down well so it holds its shape. I use it as-is, but you could chill for an hour to get it more firm. Or if you're recipe calls for a baked crust, bake it at 375* for 7 minutes and cool.
