How I’ve Relieved Some Pressure Just Before the Holidays and How You Can, Too! (Plus a Giveaway)

I’ve recently made the decision to take some big things off my plate so I can focus more on our kids (and homeschooling) as well as blogging.  I can’t tell you how relieved I feel.  Thank you all so much for your prayers since I asked for them the other day!  Today the kids and I took a nature walk together and we loved checking out the muskrat dens in our pond out back, walking around on the crunchy leaves in the woods and breathing in the crisp fall air.  Later we made hot cocoa and watched a movie together.  A slice of heaven I tell ya!

Now if I just had my Christmas shopping and the holiday dishes I’m serving all planned out, I’d really be on a roll!

But at least I’ve got Jenny’s class to help me with one of those dilemmas.  I’m going to dig in soon to figure out what we’re having for our traditional Christmas Eve meal (just the six of us), and also what dishes I’m taking to all the Christmas parties.  I’d really like to try the grain-free, honey-sweetened gingerbread with the kids and other new ideas this year.
