Kent gave me the idea for this post, but I’m not convinced it will be as interesting to all of you, my readers, as it is to me – I’ll give it a shot anyway…
He thought you might be interested in knowing which posts the readers in other countries visit most often here on my blog and which topics are high on their priority list. (By far, most visitors, about 90%, come from the U.S., but I’ve had hits from 87 different countries.)
Most popular posts in the top 10 countries that visit (besides the United States):

In case you’re wondering, the most visited post in the U.S. is the same as Canada’s. It was very exciting for a while there to be the number one hit if someone did a Google search with the words, “Nalgene plastic safety” (now I’m on the first page, but not the first hit) – this is thanks to a story on the Today Show a while back on the topic of plastic water bottles. Since then I’ve been getting hits like crazy to that post. To give you an idea of how fun this was for me, you have to realize that newer blogs (I only began January 1st) rarely get that close to the top of a Google search! Lately, though, I’ll get about half of my hits from Google.
