Wow Kelly, that sound just mind blowing! Congrats to you and your son. I think its mega exciting and i love the pic’s of the food too looking forward to reading more….P.S I loved Smoked Eel, its much tastier so you might like to try that. I usually purchase mine from a Polish butcher who is really old school and smokes the old fashioned way….no preservatives no nothing!!

I can’t stand eel either. BLEECHH! And don’t worry about chopsticks – sushi is traditionally eaten with the fingers and not chopsticks.

So cool, we just saw AC Milan vs Club America here in the bay area. I seem to be always explainin that it’s sashimi (yum!) that is raw fish, not sushi. Sushi’s one of the things I started making just last week, it’s interactive and my son actually ate seaweed wrapped around cute little sushi balls he made himself.
