I can’t wait for all of you to check out this new blog network that Ann Marie has put HOURS of work into! It has actually been live for a while now, but she had her own set of bugs to work out before we put the word out. (Seems to be common with websites, sure wish I had my own “I.T.” guy!)

Real Food Media is the first and only blog network devoted to slow and traditional food, nutrition, food politics, sustainable agriculture, and eco-friendly lifestyles.

What’s a blog network you ask?

A blog network is a group of like-minded blogs all in one place.

Will the Kitchen Kop site change?

No, I’ll still have my Kitchen Kop blog and nothing will change there. However, each time I post, the new articles are also published over at the RFM blog.

The same thing will happen with the other RFM blogger’s posts. This collection of various posts, all from different bloggers who have similar philosophies about food, will be a nice resource for you!

From the About page at Real Food Media:

Real Food Media is a network of blogs about whole, natural, nutrient-dense food.

We believe food should be:

  • Organic
  • Humanely raised (animals on pasture, not in factories)
  • Grown locally when possible
  • Whole and unrefined (real maple syrup instead of high-fructose corn syrup)
  • Processed as little as possible (raw milk instead of pasteurized and homogenized)
  • Nutrient-dense (enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics)
  • Free of additives and preservatives
  • Free of synthetic and chemical ingredients
  • Not genetically modified
  • Traditionally produced and prepared

We publish stories about food and cooking, food politics, farming and producing food, health and nutrition, and green living. View the list of Real Food Media blogs here.

Hi Kelly,
I would like for my blog to be part of the Real Foods Media Group. We are the NT way and I promote a healthy diet on my blog. Please stop by and visit me sometimes. I look forward to hearing how I can be a part of the group.
Blessings,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
RFM is owned by Ann Marie, but I’ll suggest to her that she take a look at your site.
I look forward to checking it out more too – I know I’ve been there before.
God bless!
Kelly

Hi there,
I was wondering what was up with the Real Food Media site. Do you know? I was reading it regularly . . . and there haven’t been any updates since 6/8. I’m missing it!
