Good morning all. It's been a busy week of catching up after being at the conference all last weekend, and also starting to think ahead to the holidays — did you know Advent begins in TWO weeks? The kids have been playing Christmas music already, and I don't know about you, but my brain just can't go there until after Thanksgiving. Besides, I've got a pit in my stomach whenever I think of the holidays. I know Mom wouldn't want her passing to put a cloud over such a special time of the year, and I'm trying to remember to be happy that she'll be with Jesus this Christmas, but… I just miss her. I want to call her! And the thoughts of not waking up on Christmas morning in the house I grew up in for the first time in all of my 47 years… pass the tissues please. Wow, I hope none of you quit reading my blog because you're sick of listening to me grieve!
Guess what else I've been working on around here? Getting my site updated so it's finally mobile friendly, about time huh?! At the conference last weekend I had three different people mention the exact same thing to me, so I know what I have to do: Bite the bullet and drop the cash. Stay tuned!
Check out (in the picture below) what's up today and tomorrow on Sean Croxton's Digestion Sessions (click here to sign in to watch and learn at no charge) — notice my friend, Hannah from KombuchaKamp.com, will be teaching you how to brew your own kombucha. You'll love her, and her hubs, Alex, is pretty cool, too. 🙂 I'll be watching this one for sure because after having it again at the conference, I have a renewed appreciation for kombucha! And “How to train your brain for better bowel movements…” Gotta see what THAT is all about, right?!

Dear Kelly,
I do not think you are grieving all the time in your posts. It is only once in a while and just a mention of it. I am not going through nor have I gone through the loss of a parent but I know many are. I imagine sharing what you do share is an encouragement to people who are going through the loss. It is a comfort to know that you are not the only one in such circumstances. For those of us who have not gone through the process it gives us a picture of what we should expect along the way. Please do not feel the need to apologize for sharing with us. I appreciate it.
