How many times have you felt like there was nothing you could do to make a dent in all of the problems in our food supply today? While I've often asked you to vote with your food dollars with every meal you eat, still it sometimes feels like it's not enough, like we're not making a big enough splash, as so many around us are still getting sick.
(Before you read the post below, you may first want to read a basic GMO definition here.)
Well now that's changing, and we CAN make a difference!
We can help get GMOs out of our food supply and stop this great big human science experiment! We don't know yet what all of the ramifications of such drastic changes to our food supply will be; genetically modified foods are downright scary.
Watch this 30 second video for more:
If you could donate even five bucks to this cause, and ask your friends to do the same, we can help raise the money needed to get Proposition 37 PASSED in California!
Guess what will happen then?
The big dogs will be forced to start playing nice. They won't want their products to look bad with a big ol' GMO label on them, so they'll have to STOP using foods with GMOs! Then the movement will spread beyond California (“As goes California, so goes the nation”) and their goose will be COOKED. This is why they are fronting millions of dollars to get this proposition defeated ($28 million last I heard), but WE are on the side of what's RIGHT and we can do this TOGETHER!
Can you tell by all of my CAPS and exclamation points that this issue has me a tad bit riled up?!
The California ballot initiative is an end run around Monsanto’s government controls via the FDA and USDA. For the first time in the US, the decision to label genetically engineered foods will be put into the hands of voters. Your support is urgently needed. Please donate to this historic effort!
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO!
After you do any of the following, tell us about it in the comments to keep the excitement going, and THANK YOU!
- Go here to donate ANYTHING you can! (Deadline for donations is Sept 30.)
- Know anyone in California? ASK THEM TO VOTE YES ON PROPOSITION 37 TO GET GMOs LABELED!
- Watch Dr. Mercola's video to learn more, and THANK YOU for your help!

Kelly, this is outstanding1 Thank you so much for posting this. We have this one chance to stop GMOS, and to save our food supply for our children. We are Californians, and are definitely urging our friends to vote for this.
My deep thanks and appreciation to everyone who has contributed.
We are hearing many ads a day paid for by the Biotech industry, and they are full of lies and distortions. All Prop 37 will do is require the labeling of GMOs. Everything else they say about it is just not true.

I just donated last night, after watching the “Genetic Roulette” film. I was so disturbed after watching the film.
Do you know how the money that is donated towards Prop 37 is being used? Are there ad campaigns in California? I hate to hear of the Biotech ads (but not surprised by them), and was hoping that there is counter advertising by Prop 37 proponents that is being done. I live in SC.

Yes, they’re using it for advertising to FIGHT BACK!

After I posted the question, I saw that there are TV ads being run in California. Praying for good results from the ads!

Done, Kelly! I think that GMOs in our food supply is possibly the most enormous health risk we face. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Prop. 37 passed?!
KitchenKop says
I get chills just thinking about it!
Thanks so much!
