Welcome and PLEASE read below before you link up as this is a REAL FOOD carnival, and very different from others you may have joined in on.
I LOVE WEDNESDAYS!
It’s that crazy time of the week when you entice us with your links and comments to go check out your blogs and your great REAL FOOD WEDNESDAY tips and ideas or recipes! (Visit that link if you’re new and want to learn more about this blog carnival.) Remember, if you’re a blogger, you’ll draw some good traffic to your site by participating! (This is how I built up my traffic in the beginning, and don’t miss my tips below.)
CAN YOU HELP? (6 rules and tips!) (Note: here’s where those of you who are new will want to read carefully, thank you!)
1. It’s not easy for me to catch them all on my own, and I’d really like everyone to play fair, so if you see any posts that don’t link back to this post (blog carnival etiquette you know!), can you email me please? Kelly@KellytheKitchenKop.com. If you don’t know how, I explain it at this REAL FOOD WEDNESDAY link. (I hate playing hardball and removing links, so let’s all be good to the others who are bringing more traffic to your blogs with their links by doing the same, OK?)
2. Also, PLEASE let me know if you see a recipe posted that is blatantly not Real Food. Someone who is striving and on the journey is one thing (as we all are), but if it’s really bad (canned bread, meat substitutes, Velveeta, margarine/vegetable oil, Egg Beaters, unfermented soy/tofu or any other fake food), please tell me so I can remove it. (If I’ve removed your post, I hope there are no hard feelings, but people come to this post for Real Food ideas, and I don’t want to disappoint.)
3. I hope you’ll retweet and stumble this post and also any sites you visit – this will get more exposure to all of us, thank you!
4. Please don’t link up to your post where you’re writing about something as an affiliate if I’m already an affiliate for the same thing, OK? That includes giveaway posts. (Thank you for understanding!)
5. Want more traffic at your blog? if you’re linking up and hoping for more traffic to your blog, can I make a suggestion for how to boost your traffic? Besides just adding your link to the Mr. Linky doohicky, if you also comment and include just ONE interesting sentence to grab the readers attention AND a link to that specific post, you’ll get more hits for sure, at least from me anyway. I don’t often have time to go through every single link (although I know a lot of people do), but one thing I always do is read the comments. If there’s a sentence that grabs my interest AND a link to get me there easily, I’m much more apt to visit!
6. Don’t have a blog? We still want to hear from you! Please leave your tips or recipes in the comments.
Thank you!
You’re up, and we can’t wait to see your stuff!

Hello Real Food Wednesday!
This week I’m sharing my recipe for Homemade Chicken Stock. It seems everyone has there own method for making stock, so I’ve shared a few notes on my particular method as well as some fun facts about the nutrition of stock.

Thanks! I’m happy I have something to post again. I’m in the midst of a personal challenge to exorcise food demons – best gift I could think to give myself this Holiday season.
Thanks for hosting. My post this week is about CLA, a vital nutrient. Grassfed meat is a rich source of CLA.

Hi, Kelly!
People keep asking me to share about how our diet has changed since moving overseas. We’ve had to navigate issues of availability and cost, and our diet has shifted along the way but we’re pretty happy with what we’ve managed to work out until now. So I finally sat down to detail all of this and shared about it today!
Thanks for hosting!

Thanks for the linky. I submitted a hearty soup recipe: http://www.familybalancesheet.org/2011/12/chunky-potato-and-leek-soup.html
I finally posted my full fluoroderma resource page. It includes the questionnaire to help figure out if your acne is caused by fluoride, a pocket guide to fluoride sources, and a free e-book on everything you need to know about fluoride and acne. I hope people find it useful. I can’t wait to hear the fluoroderma success stories start rolling in!

Good morning, Kelly! I’ve linked to my Glazed Barbecue Meatball recipe – part of my kid-friendly series this week! My 2-year-old grandson gobbled them up, and the grown-ups enjoyed it so much I’m making them as cocktail meatballs for our annual holiday party this Saturday.
Hi kelly – the “Candy Cane Parfaits” aren’t really a good real food post. I like her blog for allergy folks but needs less sugar.
Sharing our chocolate gingerbread muffins — enjoy!
Great recipes! Great fun! I enjoy coming here week after week. Such inspiring ideas! I posted a recipe on Pumpkin Spice Waffles. Hope you like them! Such a nice added flavor this time of year! Blessings!
Thanks for hosting! I posted a recipe for quinoa pomegranate salad and roasted butternut squash.
I am sharing a Hot ‘n Sour Soup that is nourishing. Chinese restaurant versions are often loaded with MSG, not make with homemade chicken stock, and rich with unsprouted tofu. This is a Hot ‘n Sour that actually will nourish your body and add health, not take away from it!

I don’t have a post to share, but wanted to mention I had an insight this morning: DS will not eat meat, but loves broth. So, instead of engaging in a food power struggle…
MAKE HIM SOME BROTH!
I’m glad I know of that alternative to help him get protein and minerals, and wonder why I didn’t think of it several months ago.
Thanks for hosting, Kelly.
Today I linked up a post that’s a little unusual, but I hope it’s okay. It a poem titled “Twas the Night Before Christmas – When the SWAT Team Arrived”
This post is dedicated to:
Quail Hollow Farm, who had their Farm-to-table meal raided by a government goon who forced them to destroy the food by pouring bleach all over it, including the meat that wasn’t UDSA labeled.
The Stower Family who had their food club raided (they spent six hours – with their children – held at gunpoint) and their private food stores confiscated – while the owner’s husband was serving active duty in Iraq.
The folks at Rawsome (and other raw milk sellers), who have been repeatedly harassed (sometimes at gunpoint), for selling clean, safe food.
And all people who are fighting for the right to eat real food.
This is always a good read, thanks for hosting, Kelly! I shared a link to my current post about figuring out what to eat at a party and some great ideas (with recipe links) for real-food items to bring that won’t be rejected by the hostess. I hope you can check it out!

Sharing a great recipe for Garden Chowder that I have made for a couple yrs after finding it on Lindsay Edmond’s “Passionate Homemaking” blog. Yummy, creamy soup that works great with broccoli/cauliflower/carrot/potato combination – or make up your own combo of whatever you have around!
This Crispy Almond-Crusted Mahi Mahi recipe is one that I have been making regularly for over a year now since it is so popular at my house. I used to make it with sprouted flour, but now I do almond flour to make it GAPS-legal. Either way is scrumptious!
