OOPS, sorry guys, I had the time set wrong for when this post was supposed to go live!
It’s that crazy time of the week when you entice us with your links and comments to go check out your blogs and your great REAL FOOD WEDNESDAY tips and ideas or recipes! (If you’re a blogger, you’ll draw some good traffic to your site…)
First, can you help?
1. It’s not easy for me to catch them all on my own, and I’d really like everyone to play fair, so if you see any posts that don’t link back to this post (blog carnival etiquette you know!) , can you email me please? Kelly@KellytheKitchenKop.com. (I hate playing hardball and removing links, so let’s all be good to the others who are bringing more traffic to your blogs with their links by doing the same, OK?)
2. Also, PLEASE let me know if you see a post that is blatantly not Real Food. Someone who is striving and on the journey is one thing (as we all are), but if it’s really bad (canned bread, Velveeta, margarine, Egg Beaters, unfermented soy or any other fake food), please tell me so I can remove it. (If I’ve removed your post, I hope there are no hard feelings, but people come to this post for Real Food ideas, and I don’t want to disappoint.)
3. I hope you’ll retweet and stumble this post and also any sites you visit – this will get more exposure to all of us, thank you!
4. Don’t have a blog? We still want to hear from you! Please leave your tips or recipes in the comments.
Thank you!
You’re up, and we can’t wait to see your stuff!

Thanks again for hosting, Kelly.
I am sharing my super easy, all natural and truly soothing facial cleanser / facial routine that is based on jojoba oil. It got me out of a rough time w/ irritated skin (rosacea). I am sure that there are others out there who would really benefit from this and it is great for those w/o skin issues as well.
Posting this week about artificial food dyes and the irony of St. Patrick’s Day falling right before the FDA is set to consider the connection between food dyes and children’s behavior.
I also include a link to an online petition where people can share their experiences with food dyes and comments on why petrochemical dyes should be banned. Comments will be accepted until the hearings start on March 30.
Thanks, Kelly!

I’ve got the seasonal change update for my gift challenge. Amazingly I’ve make some progress on gifts which will be needed later in the year. Planning now means spending less money then and making something lovely.
Thanks for hosting!
I love making homemade whole milk ricotta and this week it has been put into a pie with home canned fruit added, delicious if I say so myself. Thanks for hosting!

I just made a big batch of my favorite freezer meal, Sweet Potato Burritos, so I thought I’d do a post on them! They’re great for new moms, or to keep a stash in your own freezer.
My thoughts on how I prioritize this real food journey:

I just posted about the website Local Harvest. I know that many people have heard of it and use it often, but I am sure there are some who have not discovered it yet and I wanted to spread the word!
Thanks for hosting Kelly!
I put together a user-friendly chart that simplifies what fats and oils are best for cooking, which is best left unheated, and which to avoid or limit and why.
It’s a printable guide that can be used for easy reference.
Thanks for hosting! I shared my easy steps to juicing wheatgrass with my inexpensive, hand-powered juicer!
I can’t get enough of this chocolate custard we have been eating. We had some more along with some smoked salmon and an arugula salad.
thanks for hosting Kelly; all linked up with a great berry French toast recipe. Link back to your blog is in my post. Take care!
Thanks for hosting! I’m linking our latest muffin, Lemon Poppy Seed, which we made with whole wheat pastry flour and buttermilk. These turned out great; no one would ever know they’re made with whole wheat.
On another note, we made 20 pds. of kielbasa over the weekend using my Polish great grandma’s recipe which I hope to post about soon. I did put up a few pictures, so check them out.
Blessings! ~Lisa
Thanks for the great site and for hosting! Have a great day!!
Today’s post is about how older people on a traditional diet keep their health and independence as they age. Real food can help you keep your sight, your mind, your strength, your joints, and keep you self sufficient well into your nineties!
So glad to find your blog hop! I’m linking a delightful Filipino treat called Food for the Gods!
More power to you!
Crap, my link went to the wrong spot, the first one went to last week’s entry, the second one is the real one! Sorry!
These posts are awesome!! I love that people post about more than food: resources, personal experiences, health, etc. Keep it coming! Reading these makes me want to start my own blog… impossible with 2 kids and a full time job. I can dream though….
You might want to check out the microwave brownie mix #50 (shudder). It’s full of sugar, geared for the microwave and has 2 cups of sugar in the recipe.

Hi Kelly! I am sharing my recipe for Italian Shrimp Salsa/Salad. I made it with prawns that I got frozen from Costco. It is a gorgeous salsa and it’s really healthy too!

Kelly,
Let me just say to anyone thinking of getting a blog consultation with Kelly, you should! I spent a wonderful hour getting advice from Kelly and I have many, many things to follow up on… Thanks so much Kelly for the encouragement and advice and for creating Real Food Wednesdays so I could share a recipe and build some traffic!

Thanks for hosting! Today, I’m sharing three recipes: grain-free ‘breaded’ haddock, seared asparagus, and swiss chard with crispy bacon and caramelized onions. It was a seriously delicious dinner!
I love this carnival, Kelly!
I am posting about a a two year period of eating badly and my regrets. I actually fed my kids butter flavored Crisco, powdered milk and Velveeta on my MIL’s advice. It didn’t do us any favors. But I might as well laugh at myself ’cause everybody else already does!
Thanks for hosting, Kelly. I shared a post on soaked, whole wheat “Wheat Thin” style crackers – very tasty.
Spring is here!!! I posted some information about raising ducks, and check out some delicious ways to use duck eggs.
Dawn, I’m becoming a believer in ducks, too! Thanks for that post.
I just posted about Apple Cinnamon Muffins, made with almond flour and honey!
I am trying to figure out how to do the proper links for RFW and I am not sure how to click Link on my blogging tool to do that… Help!!!!
LOL Kel, I either come too early or two late! Why can’t we get on the same schedule? LOL I am linking up Baby steps to a rockin’ life and there are some really good ones every week but this week is filled with simple home remedies and ways to make life’s pace more peaceful! Check it out! Big hugs! alex
I am sharing a primal/paleo “happy meal” that cost me $3.90. It is FULL of nutrition and will make you feel AWESOME. Something that McDonalds “happy meals” is missing.
