It’s that crazy time of the week when you entice us with your links and comments to go check out your blogs and your great REAL FOOD WEDNESDAY tips and ideas! (If you’re a blogger, you’ll draw some good traffic to your site…)
First, can you help?
1. It’s not easy for me to catch them all on my own, and I’d really like everyone to play fair, so if you see any posts that don’t link back to this post (blog carnival etiquette you know!) , can you email me please? Kelly@KellytheKitchenKop.com. (I hate playing hardball and removing links, so let’s all be good to the others who are bringing more traffic to your blogs with their links by doing the same, OK?)
2. Also, PLEASE let me know if you see a post that is blatantly not Real Food. Someone who is striving and on the journey is one thing (as we all are), but if it’s really bad (canned bread, Velveeta, margarine, Egg Beaters, unfermented soy or any other fake food), please tell me so I can remove it. (If I’ve removed your post, I hope there are no hard feelings, but people come to this post for Real Food ideas, and I don’t want to disappoint.)
3. I hope you’ll retweet and stumble this post and also any sites you visit – this will get more exposure to all of us, thank you!
4. Don’t have a blog? We still want to hear from you! Please leave your tips or recipes in the comments.
Thank you!
You’re up, and we can’t wait to see your stuff!

Happy RFW of the 2010!!! Last year, I discovered a new “grocery store.” It redefined what it means to me to eat locally, and was the source of all of my favorite foods of the year.
Hi, Kelly! I was the one who messaged you on fb about my link ups disappearing. I tried it from my laptop and it worked, so it is something weird with my other computer. Anyway, thanks for hosting! I can’t wait to see what everyone shares.
woohoooo!! Great news!
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for hosting!
My post this week reviews the highs and lows of the year in health and nutrition and food policy.
We still have much more work to do…
I don’t always have as much time to Stumble all your posts as I’d like to on RFW, but I just did you first 4 anyway and I hit my 500th stumble, wish it was higher.
Such Real Food goodness, thanks ladies!
Kel
Posted about my latest woodstove cooking adventure!
I linked up my Sausage Potato Soup recipe- perfect for those cold winter nights! Thanks for hosting!
Happy New Year Kelly!
This week I am sharing my Cauliflower “Potato” Salad. It is super healthy and a great low carb version of a salad that we all love. You really can’t taste that it is not a “real” potato salad!
Thanks for hosting!
Hi Kelly! Hope you had a lovely Christmas. This week I’ve posted a nutritious and seasonal red cabbage and walnut coleslaw with a delicious Balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard dressing. Thank you for hosting and Happy New Year!
Oops! Sorry…#10 is me too but I didn’t name my recipe. This is a very hearty breakfast recipe that we enjoy serving on holidays because it will fill tummys until a later than usual dinner is prepared.
I made some Hickory Smoked Baby Back Ribs that I served with cabbage casserole and watermelon.
This week I’m exploring the myths surrounding the “obesity kills” theory. Turns out it’s not as accurate as most of us think.
I just posted about some of my musings about my tastes changing to eating locally seasonally.
This week I have a recipe again, for one of my favorite winter comfort foods.
Thanks for hosting again this week Kelly, I’ve brought an almond pine cone dip to the party.

Ever wanted to roast a duck but were afraid to try? Here’s all the info you need to take the plunge! Hint: roasting duck is easier than a chicken!
Hi Kelly,
I made my Ham Salad Puffs, a great holiday entertaining treat and hope you and your readers enjoy it. Thank you for hosting us today and best wishes in 2011, Happy New Year!
When confronted with facts that don’t fit a scientist’s theory of how the world works, he throws out the facts and keeps looking for an answer that will suit his belief system. My New Year’s wish for my friends is a healthy skepticism about what they read, hear and believe, especially when it comes from media and medicine.
I’ve been a follower of your blog for awhile, this is my first link back to my own blog, I guess I have a thing or two to learn, just added my name, oops. Meant to put that it was a link to our Christmas Chicken Tortilla Soup which I made into a real food recipe this year. Enjoy!
We have a great guest blog from Jeffrey Smith this week about GMO’s and your children. Happy New Year everyone!
Hi everyone!
It’s great to be back blogging and being a part of Real Food Wednesday again! This week I announce that I’m pausing my weight loss because my husband and I are expecting! But I’ll still continue to blog about exploration of a real food lifestyle.
Thanks again for hosting Kelly and I hope everyone has a great week!
Yay! Congratulations!!
Morning everyone!
Thanks for hosting, Kelly!
This week, I’m sharing my first venture into Ethiopian cooking with a African Chicken Chickpea Peanut stew that uses peanut butter, coconut milk, and squash. So nourishing and filling – not to mention amazingly delicious!
Can’t wait to check out the rest of the links!
Kelly, as usual thanks so much for hosting!
Today I submitted my signature recipe for meatballs. This recipe has caused quite the controversy in my family over the correct way to make my Grandmothers meatballs! It has been great. I hope you will check it out, they are always a crowd pleaser!

PS- Kelly, sorry for posting twice. The first one accidentally links back to you!
I had copied the link for my blog and inadvertently made that mistake. The first one can be deleted.
Thanks!
#32 – A great recipe for Curry Lentil Soup – one of my favorites. Check out the previous post, too, for my last of three posts on eggs. Enjoy and thanks for hosting, Kelly!
I linked up my Variation on chicken Cordon Bleu recipe. I’m having leftovers for lunch today and can’t wait. Have a Happy New Year!!
Many of us know the wonderful benefits of the young coconut…but opening them can be another story! So much easier when you see someone else do it first! Hope this can help some others avoid the frustration I had when I first starting eating these lovely foods.
Thanks for sharing your blog carnival with me. I love the exposure and all the recipes shared by others.
Posting about my new piggies!

The only way to really know what I am eating, is to raise it myself.
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for hosting! I’m loving cheese even more now…find out why in my latest post!
Just realized I forgot to comment — oops! This is my first time linking up (#41) and have shared a family favorite soup recipe. Thanks for hosting, Kelly. It’s fun to see what else is being linked up; there are lots of good nutritious recipes and ideas! Blessings to you and yours in the new year.
I got a little linky happy and accidentally linked up twice. Sorry about that! I’m a little flaky today (5 sick kids + 2 sick parents makes one frazzled mom!)
If a link isn’t posted, how can I check out all these great recipes? I must be missing something. Thanks!
Shannon, I’m sorry, I don’t know which link you’re looking for? If you can’t see the links, you may need to disable an ad blocker you might have on??
I only buy organic produce which means sometimes not much produce at all. You?
Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful New Year!
Hi Kelly! Thank you so much for hosing real food Wednesdays! I always love checking out the posts. I just added your website to my list of sites featuring my recipes. You are nestled between Jamie Oliver and Ptet Chef. Happy eating! Oh yes, I created a healthier, almost flourless chocolate torte!
Thanks for hosting Kelly- it’s great having a place to come where all the recipes will be real! I use the slow cooker a lot this time of year, so I’m offering another slow cooker recipe…
The One Ingredient, Two Step Cracker is the easiest recipe on the planet- and it tastes fantastic too!
Probably one of my last sweet posts for awhile. Now that the holidays are over, it’s time to cut back on the sugar:) We really enjoyed this Apple Cranberry Crumble for Christmas dinner.
I’m with you on the sweets thing, but not happily!
So excited to have stumbled upon you! Thanks!
Glad you’re here Emily!
Love your new grocery store @butterpoweredbike! And congratulations to @Ashley! My internet just decided to be difficult or I would see more of your posts! Really loved the Swedish Hash recipe by I Believe In Butter! Very cool and Happy New Year everyone…and hope you all had a good Solstice / Lunar Eclipse — too cool right?
Hope you are all ready to get down and dirty in 2011. Those corporations are really out to close down Real Food–passing both the S-510 and the C-36 in the middle of the Christmas season on a Sunday night at 10 pm to boot. But methinks they will be in for a bigger surprise than they realize
Posted some links about school lunch reform and am happy to have more recommendations. I interviewed WAPF president Sally Fallon Morell earlier this week and am working on a longer article as a follow-up.
