It’s that crazy time of the week where you entice us with your links and comments to go check out your blogs and your great REAL FOOD WEDNESDAY tips and ideas! (If you’re a blogger, you’ll draw some good traffic to your site…) First, I NEED YOUR HELP with something though…
Can you help?
1. I’d really like everyone to play fair, so if you see any posts that don’t link back to this post (blog carnival etiquette you know!) , can you email me please? Kelly@KellytheKitchenKop.com. (I hate playing hardball and removing links, so let’s all be good to the others who are bringing more traffic to your blogs with their links by doing the same, OK?)
2. Also, PLEASE let me know if you see a post that is blatantly not Real Food. Someone who is striving and on the journey is one thing (as we all are), but if it’s really bad (canned bread, Velveeta, margarine, Egg Beaters, unfermented soy or any other fake food), please tell me so I can remove it. (If I’ve removed your post, I hope there are no hard feelings, but people come to this post for Real Food ideas, and I don’t want to disappoint.)
3. I hope you’ll retweet and stumble this post and also any sites you visit – this will get more exposure to all of us, thank you!
4. Don’t have a blog? We still want to hear from you! Please leave your tips or recipes in the comments.
Thank you!
You’re up, and we can’t wait to see your stuff!

Likely a controversial piece, but I do straddle both worlds of real food and vegetarianism. I wrote my post for people who are or want to be vegans and who want to know how to do it in the most healthy way. Cheers!
Hi Kelly. I’m just posting about this great fermentation crock I found. Check it out.
Amanda
Up late watching elections and wanted to share the Mahi Mahi we had for supper. Got the name on the entry wrong, but it was my first time. I’ll get it right next time. BTW, I hate cancer.
I went foraging at midnight on Halloween, and it was a blast. I came home with a few black walnuts, but on that night, it was about something more than just food.
Today’s post is about GMO’s in Vitamin C & GMO’s in the news.

Hey Kel! Wednesday again? You must be getting a little crazy getting ready for the WAPF conference. Again, sorry I won’t meet you this time, but it will definitely happen at some point! My article this week is about how I ran out of healthy stuff in my pantry over a month of hard birthday partying and other celebrations, and what I am going to do tomorrow to remedy that! Hugs! Hi! Ok, so right as Real Food Wednesday posted, my sketchy mountain interned dropped me and isn’t on yet. So I linked my California Autumn Salad recipe here from my 2 bars of iPhone service and as SOON as we have Internet again, I’ll link the recipe to this link up, I promise! It really is troubling how attached I am to this link-up, I think…
Hi Kelly, thanks so much for hosting. My recipe is for a quick and healthy cassoulet using mainly organic ingredients. I’m so excited to see your recipe for a healthy thousand island dressing. It’s one of my favourites too, but I’ve been avoiding it because store bought versions have so many nasties in them. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe – I can’t wait to give it a try!
One of our favorite “high maintenance” recipes–that is worth every minute!
I’m really enjoying all the wonderful information and the recipes! Today, I”m sharing a recipe for a fall favorite, Apple Harvest Cookies that is part of my Applemania! week. I’m still trying to figure out how to open it to other bloggers and would appreciate any tips you might have. Thanks!
Hi, Kelly! My post is the whys and hows making your own peanut butter. Easy, fun and delicious! And I linked back!
It’s great that you laid out pretty clearly the etiquette. I’m sure most will comply. Thanks for hosting!
I’m sharing my Chicken Soup x 2. It was a chicken stew (aka Fricot) the first night and a soup the second, both rich and delicious!
Thanks so much Kelly. I really appreciate the being able to share here and the extra readers the last few weeks.
This week I was inspired by a recipe I saw on the menu of a restaurant called “How to cook a Wolf”. Soft Boiled Eggs and Sauteed Kale using mostly homegrown and homemade ingredients!
Oops I forgot to leave my name on the link, sorry! My blog this week doesn’t feature any recipes but instead we’re talking about human dignity after a hateful blog post was published on Marie Claire’s website where the blogger said that watching extremely overweight people walk across a room, and especially kiss on TV disgusts her. This post is my response.
I know this doesn’t directly deal with real food but I still thought it would be something Real Food Wednesday readers might be interested in!
Have a great week everyone, and thanks for hosting Kelly!
I hope you don’t mind canned tomatoes and chilies in the links. I often use real, not canned but sometimes, canned just works! If there is a problem, just let me know! Thanks!
Nothing like a good soup on a cold day. Hearty and delicious. I didn’t add anything that’s not real, otherwise that would just be wrong. Thanks!
Yum, lots of good looking stuff today!
Hope you enjoy some grain-free pumpkin pancakes.
I just linked a super easy fried potato recipe! When we switched to ‘real food’ french fries were one of the things I missed the most – these make up for it.

Thank you! Can’t wait to look at what everyone has shared this week!!
Thanks for hosting!! Have a great week!
No recipes this week, but I wrote about the difference between unrefined and regular table salt and I’m hosting a giveaway of Real Salt! I’ve had a bunch of responses from people who were surprised and had no idea iodized table salt is a “refined food”!
Hi, this is my first carnival! In fact, I messed up up there. I linked as just “kmillecam” first, and then I did it right the next time with my “k-land: Homemade Chicken Soup” link name. Now I know! I’m excited to join in the fun!
I did the same thing my first time, and Kelly has let me keep coming around…so far.
Today, I enter the bone broth reduction sauce we served to Dr. Mercola when he came to dinner. The recipe, by personal chef Victoria Cortes gives you a versatile sauce for both beef and lamb dishes.
Today I’ve shared a post about our family’s sauerkraut making experiences, with plenty of photos.
Hi Kelly, my post is about sneaking liver and other organ meats into your families diet without them knowing it!
I shared a gluten-free, low carb meatball recipe that uses coconut flour and is fried in coconut oil. Coconut flour is delicious substitute for breadcrumbs! Thanks for hosting, Kelly.
In my area they’re doing a study on raw milk — why people drink it — and it sounds unbiased! I am excited about it so I shared a link to my post on it.
Cooler weather here in Texas, i’ve prepared a roasted beet soup, and yes we eat it hot. tastes wonderful. Blessings ~ Carmen
Oops! I accidentally linked to the wrong blog post! You can delete it if you want, but it doesn’t contradict any real food strategies, so you can leave it also if you want!
I’m late! I’m late! But I made it.
Hello to Kelly and everyone! Come on by and check out my easy recipe for family-loved, nutritious, raw homemade cottage cheese. We love it with tomatoes and homemade sourdough crepes. How about you? How do you like to eat cottage cheese?
This is my first time! I think I messed up at first but think I have it fixed now. I am posting a delicious(to me) liver pate recipe, hope others enjoy it. I am looking forward to seeing what else everyone has posted.
Just got a new post up today about how traditional foods are live foods versus how modern foods are dead foods.
I made Creamy Mango Sorbet. We also dehydrated eggplant slices and used them for pizza crust.
Posting this week about our post-Halloween candy experience and the fact that teachers can’t stand the day after Halloween (guess why?). Also several candy recalls.
Thanks, Kelly!
Welcome to all you first-timers!!!
I know I’m a little late, but I just found your blog and had to join the fun!
I am a “first timer” too. I do appreciate all the great links you have available. Thanks for all the great work you do! I agree with Jennifer, this is fun!
I finally posted my big mac salad and thought I’d share it here since I mentioned it the other day and gave a shout out for your homemade thousand island dressing
