It’s that crazy time of the week where you entice us with your links and comments to go check out your blogs and your great REAL FOOD WEDNESDAY tips and ideas! (If you’re a blogger, you’ll draw some good traffic to your site…)
First, can you help?
1. It’s not easy for me to catch them all on my own, and I’d really like everyone to play fair, so if you see any posts that don’t link back to this post (blog carnival etiquette you know!) , can you email me please? Kelly@KellytheKitchenKop.com. (I hate playing hardball and removing links, so let’s all be good to the others who are bringing more traffic to your blogs with their links by doing the same, OK?)
2. Also, PLEASE let me know if you see a post that is blatantly not Real Food. Someone who is striving and on the journey is one thing (as we all are), but if it’s really bad (canned bread, Velveeta, margarine, Egg Beaters, unfermented soy or any other fake food), please tell me so I can remove it. (If I’ve removed your post, I hope there are no hard feelings, but people come to this post for Real Food ideas, and I don’t want to disappoint.)
3. I hope you’ll retweet and stumble this post and also any sites you visit – this will get more exposure to all of us, thank you!
4. Don’t have a blog? We still want to hear from you! Please leave your tips or recipes in the comments.
Thank you!
You’re up, and we can’t wait to see your stuff!

It’s getting close to Thanksgiving and I wanted to share a recipe that I just served for Canadian Thanksgiving (we celebrate in October). I use a local free-range turkey and cook it super slowly to create a juicy and tender meat.
Enjoy!
Today we have a great guest post and Moms for Safe Food has a new updated site.

Chocolate Covered Bacon…
I believe bacon should be served at every meal. Without exception! Although, this combination with bacon wasn’t the best, bacon is still good.
Posting this week about McDonald’s “nutrition workshops” for school kids. Seriously. There’s been a lot of hoopla about San Francisco’s crackdown on Happy Meal toys. But the way McDonald’s goes after kids in the guise of “education” is a far bigger and more insidious problem.

Happily harvesting and cooking with wild green in November! Amazing.
Lots of new posts! Happy Wednesday1
Looking forward to visiting all the delicious looking posts! Thanks for hosting!
I messed up a recipe for pumpkin bread…that turned out to make an even better recipe for pumpkin cupcakes!! And my kids have loved eating pumpkin yogurt lately, which makes this mama happy.
Thanks for the link-up. Lots of great reading to do.
I’m on a coconut kick these days, so I shared my Coconut Chicken Stew!
We had a delicious Mexican Feast last night, that happened to be grain-free as well as dairy/soy/gluten free. I made some scrumptious wraps to go with our Steak Enchiladas and cauliflower Mexican rice that was really scrumptious. I often don’t measure spices and adjust here and there so there is a range of recommended amounts use- I taste, smell and look as I go and adjust as needed. Hope others enjoy it as much as we did.
I’m going to try the tortialla soup and the vegetable lasagna asap! Both sound so good and simple! I always like simple! Love to see new ideas on easy meals. thanks so much!
My town is in a state of emergency due to flooding so my thoughts today turned to real food in an emergency situation (like, grab and go!). I’m hoping to get some input for ideas
These chicken nuggets up the health ante a bit. One, because they are made from scratch at home, and also because they use sweet potato puree (don’t worry, you can’t taste it)! A hit with our brood of kiddos, (and adults, too!)

Here’s a healthy alternative to those sugar filled, nutritionless juice boxes in kids’ school lunches! A healthy lemonade that will both delight and nourish! Enjoy!

I have to say the chocolate cover bacon link is certainly calling my name!

The family is nervous that I can’t make real food taste good for Thanksgiving, so I’ll be focusing on a series of food for the big day:) I made a decadent chocolate coconut pie that was a real hit.
I shared a post about our struggles to eat real food while traveling and visiting family and friends who don’t share our same real food eating habits, as well as a few encouraging things we discovered along the way in the mainstream food marketplace.
This week’s real food goal–cook with traditional fats! Three simple areas you can replace processed oils with real traditional fats.
I posted about Jicama Salsa. Let’s just say that I ate half of it before dinner was even served!
Hiall, I did a Cranberry Citrus Relish, naturally fermented, of course. Happy Turkey Day!

Hey Jan, that sounds good to me!!
So many posts that I hope to check out today, but I have a sick baby on my hands. So if my post is riddled with typos and bad grammar, for once, I have an excuse.
I’m sharing a recipe I found on Dr. Su’s forum for egg pizza.
Deprivation IS dieting. Whether you’re depriving yourself of carbs, fat, calories or any other “bad” foods, deprivation triggers the starvation response in the body. Learn why my 30 days of RRARF has nothing to do with deprivation…

We are on week 2 of eating gluten/grain free and this recipe for Zucchini Feta Pancakes filled the need for a side dish that was safe to eat. It will also make a great appetizer for the upcoming holiday events we will be attending.
