It’s that crazy time of the week where you entice us with your links and comments to go check out your blogs and your great REAL FOOD tips and ideas!
What to remember:
- A link back to this post please. (Blog carnival etiquette you know!)
- Retweet and stumble this post and also any sites you visit – this will get more exposure to all of us, thank you!
- Don’t have a blog? (I’ll bet you get to read a good novel now and then don’t you? I’m jealous…) Then please leave your tips or recipes in the comments.
You’re up, we can’t wait to see your stuff!

Holy cow, seeing that 6/30 really drove home the point that it’s the end of June already! How is that possible?
Ready for super intensely flavored and nutrient packed version of shrimp? Try this recipe for dried shrimp fritters. They only require three ingredients – shrimp, breadcrumbs, and eggs!
Kelly, your comment about non-bloggers getting to read a good novel now and then cracked me up. It is SO true, and I am not even as serious a blogger as you! Thanks for hosting a great carnival!
Hi Everyone.
I have a recipe for crispy eggplant dips with a tahini, honey and lemon dip.
Looking forward to all your posts.
Hey Kel, I am following your lead this week and using the wordpress post in draft feature as I am going away to see a girlfriend for 5 days of freedom and fun! My post this week is all about packing real food snacks for the plane and other health and happiness tips for travel!

I think I have reached a new understanding of how the teachings of Dr. Weston A. Price restored my health and changed my life. So I did a blog post on the subject.
Posting this week about the recent research on how a certain soil bacteria increases serotonin production in the brain, thus boosting both mood and the case for getting kids outside to plant, pick and otherwise connect with their food.
Thanks, Kelly!
I love getting all these good ideas! It’s something to look forward to every Wednesday. Thanks for giving us this forum.
If you have an abundance of peaches…especially if they’re getting a little soft…my BLACK BEAN PEACH SALSA is an excellent spot for them to end up.
I made these lemon poppyseed muffins for the first time last weekend and I was so delighted that they really were quite similar to ones made with wheat!
This past weekend I updated my profile picture for my “about” page. After seeing how much it looked different than my previous pictures, I had to share it. Come see the difference real food has done. I love real food weight loss!!
I love Real Food Wednesday – so many great links. I posted about how to make delicious hamburgers – not hockey pucks!
Hi Kelly!
Thanks again for hosting. My most recent post summarizes my fifth week on the EAT FAT, LOSE FAT diet and has lots of fun food pictures!
I wrote about the issue with kombucha right now. Have you heard they’re saying the alcohol content is “as high as beer” and are getting all upset about it right now? Well…I summarize and link to some of the major stories as well as give my own thoughts about this.
Real food shouldn’t have petroleum as an ingredient. It shouldn’t use petroleum as a solvent for its ingredients. Petroleum is not real food. My post is about the foodie’s connection to the gulf oil disaster.
Cannot believe the year is half over!! This weeks post for me is a great summer recipe that I don’t eat often enough….GF Fish Tacos! Thanks for hosting!
Looks like a lot of great recipes this week! I’ve added a Parmesan Ranch Dressing recipe to go with all the great greens that are available this time of year!
Bruce Fife himself emailed me after I wrote this week’s book review of The Detox Book. It’s a great learning tool, but I did have a couple bones to pick with it.
Today I am sharing 2 primal/paleo smoothie recipes that will be included in my smoothie recipe e-book. I would LOVE your input so it can become the best primal/paleo smoothie recipe e-book as possible.
Thanks for hosting! Today’s post is for “cold beet salad” to beat this HOT weather here in Texas.

Ugg! Having the biggest problem getting my little one to gain weight! This column looks at that.
I used bruchetta from a bottle which I know is not real food but it can be made so easily and I plan to make it, in the future. I am hoping that this does not offend and if it does, please remove it.
Chaya
That is bruschetta. Sorry for the goof.
Thanks for doing this. You are raising our awareness.
Just started working my way through the linky list– inspiring!

Yikes I was busy setting up a swing set for the kidieos and I almost missed the party! I finally got off the procrastination train and wrote another post for Real Food Wednesday and I almost missed it. We tried a sample of a new organic chai tea and decided to create a real food style chai shake recipe with a healthy secret ingredient…
