Do you have foods that you dream of tasting…a food bucket list? Me too! Morels were high on my list. I just got to taste wild foraged morels for the first time, and I’m still glowing with joy from the experience. I can’t wait to go find some more!

Happy RFW. Thank you, Kelly, for taking the time to host :)

My husband and I both have lost weight since going further into the real food journey. After writing about our weight loss, many family and friends keep asking what one thing they should do. Here is my #1 tip to people who are scared by everything real this week. Aspartame: Eliminate It. I hope my readers come by the carnival to learn, as I do almost every week. Thanks everyone for educating and thank you Kelly for hosting such a great carnival.

Thank you. I’m posting for the first time and shared my Coconut Brownie recipe. No grains, no sugar. When I make them I use organic butter and free range eggs (from the village farm).

This is a videoblog from last week with my good friend and very experienced foodie, Maureen Diaz. This dessert is so gourmet yet so fast and easy to make. The recipe is written down on the blog too.

Budget is screaming. Skip meat? Buy grocery store meat? No, make a stir-fry! My master recipe and a dozen options.

I don’t know about you but I don’t want all this bone mass I’ve gained from eating a healthy, balanced diet. I thinking of doing some crazy things like low-carb dieting and doing excess cardio exercise to ged rid of all this extra bone density!

Hi Kelly and everyone!

I’ve reworked a family favorite, Navajo Tacos, to include Sourdough Fry Bread. Another great use for my sourdough starter and a super tasty meal that even has the teens asking for more.

This week I’ve got a post about a neglected vegetable – the parsnip. It’s one of our family favorites, and a great fresh veg to have around in springtime when the pickings are slim.

Better late than never. :) Today’s post is the first in my series on Real Food Kitchen Staples. It’s all about honey (in moderation, of course) and its benefits.

Hey Kel! Thanks as always for sharing your rockin space with us! My article today is about making whey soda and ease herbed croutons out of the ends of your home made sourdough bread. Enjoy! Lots of great stuff here! Can’t wait to dig in!

Kelly, I love this Linky! All the great recipes and information! I see that some other people are as excited as I am that asparagus is in season. Our family likes to eat Asparagus Omelets. Can’t wait to check out the other asparagus recipes posted.

Coming late this week, but I posted about my frustration at having to explain organic nuances to my daughter, and the knee-jerk anti-organic reaction every time a new pesticide study is released (as it was this week).

Shalom, this week I wanted to let others know about the Frontier Wholesale Coop, in case this is new to them. I’ve been involved in ordering from them for almost 2 years. We have been able to take advantage of great savings. The post is on my front page since I didn’t set up the link yet. I’m new to blogging.
