My 15 year old daughter is a great baker and last week created this dessert, which was very well-received by her other eight siblings. It’s a chocolate peanut butter square recipe that has no sugar, no gluten, no grain – just lots of yumminess!
I’m doing my best this year to maximize the amount of garden produce that comes from a few small spots – my balcony hoop house, some assorted containers, and small garden plot. Thanks to a truckload of manure, my potential to grow food has greatly expanded.
Hi Kelly~ I’ve posted about Abundant Harvest Organics, a GREAT way to get a variety of organic produce all throughout California. Check it out! Thanks for hosting =)

Almost forgot to comment. I’m contributing my cauliflower mushroom soup with thyme. It’s a great way to eat your vegetables.
This is our family’s favorite coffee cake and it is the one we have almost every Sunday morning. It is so versatile that you can make it at least 7 different ways – you’ll never tire of having the same coffee cake every week. It is so easy that you will be able to serve your family a special and nutritious Sunday breakfast and still get to church on time (with a smile on your face).
Blessings –
Connie
Any of you blueberry cobbler lovers will enjoy this grain free version made with pecan and coconut flour! My picky 5 year old even loved it!
Hello, Darlins!
We’re going back to basics with detailed instructions on how to make a very simple, quick, light chicken broth. (Next week — stock! With a few tips and tricks to make it jello-jiggly.)
Thank you to the very generous and lovely Kelly for hosting again!
Warmly,
Holly
I’m taking a few weeks off from blogging on account of the fact that I still have a notable amount of work to finish before my semester ends. Looking forward to reading everyone’s contributions!
My post this week is about an unexpected side effect of fiber supplements. Judging from the comments already, I’m not the only one. Has anyone else noticed major problems with too much dietary fiber?

I start a new series today called Real food and religion. Many bloggers of different faiths share what their religion teaches about food. Todays post is by Steve and Paula Runyan, who are fundamental Christians. Enjoy! and please stop by to read the rest of the series over the next couple weeks.
My post this week states the essence of good nutrition in two simple rules. Anyone who follows these rules will enjoy excellent nutrition.
I just found this blog section and think it’s great! I linked this week’s “Why Local? Wednesday” post. Each Wed. I feature an aspect of purchasing local foods…this week it is creativity!
Hi everyone,
I’m sharing an adapted from not-very-good-ingredients recipe for Buttermilk Syrup. The results are now real food friendly and super good. We’ll be enjoying it often.
I love Real Food Wednesdays.
Enjoy Chicken Parmesan!!
Hi Kelly,
Thank you for the work you are doing, I am looking forward to testing out a few recipes over the next little while.
I work as a Strength & Conditioning coach in a high school and have my students asking me every day about what they should be eating. I generally guide them to eating food instead of fake food products. Now that I have your site I will help direct them for some great tools.
Hope you enjoy my egg scrambler!

during a giveaway a couple weeks ago I asked readers what foods their babies loved but now won’t touch with a 10 foot pole. Some are obvious like peas and broccoli, but other like peaches surprised me. Find out the top 5 fruits and veggies most likely to be found under the high chair, and one tip to keep you sane while you get kiddo back on all the foods they ate from the spoon.
I’m sharing a review I wrote of the movie “Food Inc.,” which airs tonight on PBS. The post also offers links to kid-centric reviews and asks readers whether they’ll be showing the movie to their children.
Hi Kelly – Typically my blog focuses on “Helping you incorporate beans into your child’s diet”, but recently wrote a post on parsley called “Parsley – Way Underrated”.
Thanks for providing the great links and opportunity to post our own!
Thanks for hosting, I love being able to have a place to look for real food recipes.
