You know what to do! In case this is your first time, please read the Real Food Wednesday rules and brush up on your blog carnival etiquette before adding your link. Remember if you don’t have a blog (I hear there are a few of you normal people left out there), leave your tips or recipes or whatever in the comments.
I’m working like a mad-woman on my Rookie class, so no RFW post for me today, but I did put up my first “Wordless Wednesday” post and actually I guess it does go with the Real Food Wednesday theme. Plus I know you’ll all have plenty of goodies for everyone to check out. Be sure to Tweet and Stumble this post (please?) to get more traffic to everyone’s links. Thanks!

I shared a recipe for cultured watermelon daikon with jalapeno and garlic. So yummy and very pretty, too!
And I think I put in my link incorrectly, without saying what the recipe was. Sorry!
Thank you so much for hosting, Kelly.
The calendar says it’s spring, but it’s still snowing regularly here, and will for some months to come. I’m trying to get a head start on my garden this year by growing cool crops in my balcony hoop house. I’ve planted all sorts of interesting veg – icicle and watermelon and french breakfast radishes, round carrots and rainbow carrots, neon lights chard, carnival striped beets, and more… So far, everything has survived!
Kelly, thanks for hosting! We are new contributors to Real Food Wednesdays and have been enjoying the good tips and wonderful recipes. Today I’ve shared my chicken parm recipe~ it’s what I cook when I want my husband to come home from work early. =)
This week’s post features the most nutrient dense egg recipe I know. This recipe is based on Jimmy Moore’s eggfest.
I posted my latest fermented veggie recipe. Fermented onion relish is our favorite mix yet. (Please delete the first one with the incorrect link).
I shared a new “fresh” liver recipe. Hope everyone likes cilantro..
That looks so good! I am going to have to try it the next time I get liver, which will hopefully be this weekend.
I’m new around here, and I think I accidentally posted on an old Read Food Wednesday post
But I’m on the right one now (or so I think!). Anyhow, my real food recipe is for soaked 100% whole wheat bread. It’s yummy! We LOVE bread around here
)
I posted a recipe for homemade, all raw, sugar-free softserve ice cream. Yum! Thanks for hosting, Kelly!
this week I’m sharing a guest post by a pedi on a nutritional study done of popular kids’ food. not kids’ junk food mind you, just food like granola bars, yogurt, cereal, etc that is specifically marketed to kids.
Hi, Kelly and everyone! My post today is a guest post from an Alaska reader – she shares an easy, incredible, and beautiful recipe for sourdough English muffins. I made a batch on Sunday/Monday so I know first hand how good these are.
This week I am sharing my recipe for Cinnamon Swirl Sourdough bread. My kids love this special treat for breakfast.
This is a family favorite…made it up one night when we were having guests last minute and it’s been a family fave ever since!
It seems that the last few days, I can’t turn around without seeing an article that ties in to traditional food. So this week’s post is me sharing them with you. There is also some feedback about the article I posted last week on the new Harvard study… which isn’t all that new.
Hi Kelly – I am contributing a post about pesticides and produce; The Dirty Dozen and protecting your children. Thanks for Real Food Wednesdays!
I am trying really hard in our home to keep grain based carbs to a minimum given that these types of foods were not eaten in such large quantities in Traditional Cultures as they are today (even if traditionally prepared). This recipe I posted for “No Grain Honey Bread” is one that hit a home run with the kids. Hope you all like it too! -Sarah, The Healthy Home Economist

Today, I am sharing an easy, yet elegant side dish recipe. Parsnips and Leeks. When we find these odd vegetables that we’ve never heard of before, sometimes we just have to take the plunge and experiment. This simple recipe will make you a fan of the obscure parsnip.
I got really annoyed when I heard someone saying that Taco Bell was pretty good. ugh. Here’s my take on much, much healthier Mexican-inspired food.
I shared a recipe for Simple Black Bean Chili, and now I’m hungry for some! lol!

I have written a post on airline food and how taking our own food can be healthier and create some great conversations. Let us feed our body with real food.
Hi,
I added my post about using Soaked & Ready Oats for no bake granola bars.
Hi Kelly and all fellow bloggers.
I don’t have anything food wise to share today. But it sure does relate to staying healthy. I wasn’t even planning a post like this but 2 hard days out in the garden, especially today got me thinking how important it is to stretch and hydrate.
Hope you all enjoy what I have to share.
