OUR NEW POSTS TODAY:

  • Ann Marie’s technical issues are still not resolved, and now she’s sick!  Please say a prayer for her.  She’s got a bronchial virus and isn’t up to posting – I’m glad because she needs rest!  Check out her post from earlier this week:  FAST FOOD DINNER.  (I love her version of fast food.)
  • I have 2 new posts today:
    1. The first one is about the great deals available on some KITCHEN GADGETS that I love and save me lots of time.
    2. UPDATE:  the other new post for today is up! It features a sneak peak at Anne Sergeant’s talk for the upcoming Wise Traditions conference in November! She’ll be speaking about budgeting for nutrient-dense meals, and in today’s post you’ll learn about what she calls the “3 legged stoolof good nutrition.    (Remember she wrote that great article, “Eating Healthy Shouldn’t Cost an Arm & a Leg”.)
  • Hopefully you have some REAL FOOD posts or comments to share with us today!

And by the way, to get more traffic to your posts here, remember to use the “retweet” button at the top of this post.  Same goes for StumbleUpon – if you haven’t added the toolbar, remember it makes it easier to Stumble posts, which also brings more traffic to all of us. Thank you!!

Also, consider opening a Twitter account if you haven’t already, and if you do, let me know so I can add you to my Twitter “readers” list – I like to read what’s up in your life from your tweets!  My Twitter name is “@KitchenKop”.

    Don’t have a blog?

We still want to hear from you in the comments below!  Thank you!  :)

This week, arugula is in season, and I’ve included two yummy uses for this very nutritious, spicy green.

I thought it would amuse and encourage us to see real food on one of TV’s most popular prime time shows, LOST! Sawyer loves his raw milk :-)

My heart goes out to Ann Marie – I couldn’t get on the internet for a few hours due to connectivity issues and was crazy with it. Will definitely say a prayer – or four.

I am sharing my chicken stock recipe – basic, yes, but so practical, simple, and it saves us TONS of money. It just feels better eating homemade stock – who wants it out of a can anyway??

Apples and arugula are both in season right now. Come read about their unique contributions to our diet and try out a great salad that features both!

This week I have posted some tips for first time diary goat owners. We purchased two dairy goats a little over a week ago and I shared some of things I have learned in that time.

I love the fresh raw milk and have been drinking it as fast as we get it!

Kelly, I just linked my blog, which went live for the first time for this occasion, with post #2! I’m a raw beginner at blogging so I hope I did everything right. I was just going to comment on your blog but I wrote 900 words on the theme “How We Eat” so thought that was a bit long for a comment!

I welcome your suggestions. I’m still trying to figure out the software. There’s some random caption on my single photo about Canadians that I have no idea where it came from!

    Thanks for hosting this!
    Cheers, Jeanmarie

    Hi Kelly ~
Been sometime since I’ve been to your site or others.
Glad I dropped by today to have a look at the recent Real Food Wednesday and read about Ann Marie’s technical issues aren’t resolved. I’ve missed her site and Real Food Media links.
I sure know the woes of it all. My son offered to web host my blog so he set up my own domain and got it set up about a month ago. So I moved from WordPress dot com to WordPress Org.. Which in the end led to domain integrity troubles that made the readership to my blog that had soared into the thousands plummet to almost zero. He just got it all fixed the other day. Still have a few others things to fix that need his assistance but they don’t hinder linkage to my blog anymore.
End of gardening and trip to visit our moms left me with little time given to my blog. Now I am getting it all fixed up and looking forward to getting back into the swing of blogging about nutrition, etc….
My new domain is http://www.seedsofnutrition.com .
