This year the hot item at the County Fair was Chocolate Covered Bacon. It sounded crazy, so I had to try to make some at home. My post has the recipe and the results. Thanks for hosting!

This is the first time I’ve participated in Real Food Wednesday. I wrote about growing different types of green beans organically in my garden.

Ok – I made dessert. Of course. I look at what I cook and think to myself, oh my, I do have an obsession….

My brownies use the old black bean trick – and they are *so* good. My husband took them to work and everyone gobbled them up. :)

Thank you, Kelly, for hosting!

Hi all!
My post is called “Keeping Your Self-care A Priority In Tough Times.” I’m offering some tips to keep up with your self-care and a little of my mom’s story. I’d love to read your tips!

Hi, Kelly – my post this week is an easy treat for kids on hot days – kefir smoothie popsicles! No popsicle mold required, either.

I accidentally posted twice! Sorry, please delete the first one.

I wrote about a few things you can do with cherry pits to stretch your dollar — and their flavor. ;)

Looking forward to reading the other entries!

Hi, Kelly,

Today I’ve made an Eastern Mediterranean salad of roasted figs, fresh dates, homemade yoghurt cheese, toasted pistachios and field greens with a caramelized onion balsamic. Perfect summer fare.

Thanks for hosting!

Hi all – my posting isn’t anything in the way of a recipe. I wanted to direct ya’ all to an article we found in a magazine that came in the mail yesterday. How a man lost 150 lbs. by reading Westin A. Price’s Nutrition and Physical Degeneration and by what his mother knew intuitively about about food & health.

My post today (admittedly a bit late) is Scrumptious Sourdough Pizza. We enjoyed it, and hope you do too!

Just came back here to read more of the participation.
What is it with Mr. Linky. I made ABSOLUTELY sure I deleted my previous URL which was my Crock Pickles / made sure it was deleted……and the spot was blank and then I copy / pasted the one I was sharing this week “Food, Heath and loosing weight” making sure I was correctly in. And now I see what is above is the Crock Pickles….arghhhh!!!!
Kelly I know it’s a day later but I’m going to see if Mr. Linky will work right.
I’m wondering if the sight it’s self is having quirky problems. Because I’ve been to some other blogs over time where comments like mine have been left.
So I’ll redo…….if it works and comes up with Food, health and loosing weight – please remove the crock pickle entry for me.
Thank You !!!!
