Lower Carb Tomato Soup
This tomato soup is lower in carbs than my original recipe, but just as delicious!
Servings: 7 cups
- 32 oz. jar organic marinara sauce (I often use Kirkland/Costco brand)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup whole cream/whipping cream (make sure it's not ULTRA pasteurized!)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 scoop Perfect Supplements chicken broth powder (optional for extra flavor)
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic powder--add more to your taste (we like a lot)
- 1 Tablespoon Onion powder--add more to your taste (we like a lot)
- Sea salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: collagen and/or colostrum for extra nutrition!
Mix everything together in a large pot and heat.
If your chicken broth is hot, mix the chicken broth powder with that before stirring into the soup, just so it dissolves easier.
Let simmer on low for a few minutes to let the flavors come together.
