Thank God I was not hospitalized though I was ready. The vaccine was not available where I live. I would have gotten it if it had been available. Please talk to your doctors about this. It can be deadly to not get the vaccine. The whole thing has been overblown in order to make pharmaceutical sales, and that's really all it's ever based on. If a big entity can create some sort of fear or perceived "need" for something through the media, you can bet every Tom, Dick, and Harry will run out and get it, no matter what it is. I don't like FOX news, but I think this story is a good one. It lasted all of 3 full days, complete from the Mom, I don't feel right, to jumping around in his room because he was bored, and my sister not believing this "huge deal" (according to the media) could be over so fast. No tests at all... the doctor told my sister, "we've been told, if anyone has the flu right now, it's the swine flu"... how about that for some propaganda?!? Very few docs are even testing to see which strain of flu it is!!! Wow, sounds like hyping it up to me! Anyhow, all he had was a headache the first day, and he said he felt "normal" after 24 hours, but the doc told them to keep him in bed for the full 72 hours. As for the question, would I take the vaccine, or allow my kids to get it? NO WAY!!! It sounds like they are spreading a much worse flu virus/strain in the injection that was is out, so they are going to "make" it bad, one way or the other.
